The red wines offer very lovely colour intensity, pronounced aromas of red fruits and a dense palate, acidulated at this moment, with fine and well present tannins.
Winter 2012/2013 was rainy and cold with a severe lack of sunshine.
Spring was slow to arrive, resulting in late bud-break.
During the summer, a violent hailstorm hit the north of the Côte de Beaune on 23rd July, affecting our Pommard vines in the lieux-dits “Les Riottes” and “La Croix Blanche”.
Following an exceptionally hot period for the season, harvesting was brought forward to 30th September.
Picking was done in good conditions.
