The grapes are ripe and healthy. The extraction was done gently with reduced punching down, to extract only the best tannins.

The wines have a deep color and silky tannins. They have intense notes of red fruits, and present in the mouth homogeneous and concentrated.

Winter was exceptionally mild and rainy.

In spring, the dryness and the coolness slowed down growth considerably. The heat returned at the end of May and flowering ended on June 10.

On June 28 around 5 p.m., a hailstorm hit the “Les Riottes” and “La Croix Blanche” plots located in the commune of Pommard.

summer was then very rainy in July and August.

At the end of August, thanks to the return of the high pressure, ripening progressed very rapidly, which compensated for the summer delay.

The state of health was very good due to the hot and dry weather conditions.

The maturity checks carried out in our plots made it possible to set the date for harvest to Sunday September 14 in Pommard and Tuesday September 16 in Meloisey.
