History

Our history

In 1899, our rear ggrandfather, Théodore DEVAUX, built the first farm buildings.

In 1946, our grandfather, Alexandre DEVAUX accompanied by his wife Marie-Louise DEVAUX took over the family business. In the 1960s, he acquired a few plots of vines in Pommard and developed direct sales in bottles.

In 1986, his daughter, Sylvie BOURGOGNE-DEVAUX took over the estate but was forced to sell the grape production.

In 2012, under the impetus of these two children, Fabrice and Luc, the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune was vinified, thus rediscovering the satisfaction of sharing the family passion for wine.

In 2013, in addition to the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, part of the Pommard grapes were vinified: this is the birth of our cuvée "Les Vignots".

In 2014, the entire harvest was vinified at the estate.

The estate currently operates 4.10Ha in ownership (3.42 in Bourgogne Hautes Cotes de Beaune Rouge and 0.68ha in Pommard).
