2012

The wines present a very beautiful color intensity, intense aromas of red fruits and a harmonious and rich mouth with ripe and silky tannins.

The 2012 vintage: capricious weather, constant vigilance.

Autumn : very long and sunny.

Winter very soft.

Spring : summery March, followed by the cooler and very rainy months of April, May and June (practically twice the seasonal normal), which caused very slow development of the vegetation and significant sagging at the time of flowering on Pinot Noir.

The high and regular rainfall required great vigilance throughout the season in the fight against diseases.

On June 30, a large-scale hailstorm seriously compromised the harvest volume on our plots in Pommard and one plot in Meloisey. A second episode also took place on 1er august.

I'summer returned in August with alternating cool and very hot periods.

There vintage began on September 20, the harvest was scant but with very good health and a good level of maturity.
