History

In 1899, our great-grandfather, Théodore DEVAUX, created the first buildings of our family business.

In 1946, our grandfather, Alexandre DEVAUX, together with his wife Marie-Louise, took over the family business. In the 1960s he acquired some parcels of Pommard and developed direct bottle sales.

In 1986, his daughter Sylvie BOURGOGNE-DEVAUX, took over the domain but was forced to sell its production as grapes.

In 2012, at the instigation of the two children, Fabrice and Luc, the domain vinified its own Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, thus reliving the satisfaction of sharing the family's passion for making wine.

In 2013, as well as the Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune, a part of our vines in Pommard was vinified by us: it was the birth of our tank “Les Vignots”.

In 2014, the entirety of the harvest was vinified at the domain.

Today, the estate extends 2.75 hectares of its own vines (2.07ha of Bourgogne Hautes Côtes de Beaune Rouge and 0.68ha of Pommard).
